Router’s default IP address

To configure NAT in your router you need the router IP address and the IP of the computer running RealTimeQuery inside your LAN.

Follow this simple steps to get this information:

If Windows 98 is your operative system go to:
Start -> Run and type command
In the DOS session that starts enter the command: winipcfg

If your operative system is Win 2000 or NT Systems go to:
Start -> Run and type cmd
In the DOS session that starts enter the command: ipconfig

The command outputs something like this:

The point labeled 1 shows the local IP address of your PC inside your LAN, this is 192.168.1.10 in the example.

The point labeled 2 shows the gateway IP address, this is your router's IP, 192.168.1.1 in the example.

To close this DOS session type exit and press return.
